Sandpiper is a wonderful place to stay on a beautiful beach. I only hope they can return to their former glory after Hurricane Ian. My sisters and I are looking forward to staying there again.

This place was the perfect pick for us. It's far enough away from all the night life on the upper end of Fort Myers Beach, but close enough that you could easily get a bike or scooter and be there quickly if you'd want to be. The rooms had plenty of space and wonderful views. The adult only pool was perfect for those of us without kids! Great way to get away. The beach itself was wonderful, wasn't overly crowded, the sand was beautiful white, and soft! Also a perfect place for sunset watching! The staff was very friendly too! Very kind and knowledgeable about what's to offer on the island! Only recommendation I have is for parking. You're only supposed to be allowed one car per room, but if you leave at night you most likely won't have a spot to come back to unless you stack vehicles under the third building, then you're at the mercy at hoping you aren't blocked in. Honestly a numbered parking system would be fantastic since you can only have one car per room.

We liked everything about this place. Literally feet away from the beach, no driving necessary. The view was beautiful! All the employees were very friendly. The room, the beds, bathroom, bathtub, elevator, stairs, pools, hallways, the beach it was all clean. We had no complaints. They are kid and pet friendly, had two pools so it was never too crowded between the two. They have beach staff and a sea doo rental shack right our back. The location is perfect, not too close to the parties/bars but close enough if you wanted to go and there was a grocery store less than 5 minutes down the road. We will definitely be back, it was great!

We really loved this hotel. Location is wonderful. Kids loved being able to bounce back and forth from pool to beach with ease. They have a nice courtyard with shuffleboard and bags which we enjoyed. The community grills were perfect. Our kids decided they preferred to stay in and grill rather than go to restaurants so we did that for a few meals. The rooms probably could use a bit of an update, but we put more value on the location and family-friendliness. It just made everything simple and fun for our family of 6. We plan to stay here again!

Nice little resort. Rooms not elaborate, but comfortable and clean. No dishwasher in the kitchenette. Hot water was super hot! Not enough hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels and swimsuits. Be sure to bring suction cup hooks to use on the shower walls. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were very firm. Friendly staff. Nice beach. Not walkable to the restaurant/shopping area, but a quiet location. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall a great stay! We spent 5 nights here at end of June. The first nights were very relaxing and the beach wasn't crowded. Once the 4th of July crowd moved in, it became a bit loud and crowded. Our last night we heard lots of noise for most of the night. Parking became an issue the last days. Several cars in the lot without tags left us searching for a spot. The rooms aren't the nicest but we weren't in the room much at all. The room felt a bit crowded for our family of 3, but it worked. Was awesome to walk right out to the beach and be able to rent chairs. The coffee bar and beach towels they provided were great. The Publix was very close so made it easy to run and grab anything we needed. The location was a bit far from the north end of the island where most of the restaurants are, but since it wasn't busy we got there in about 15 min most nights. As it became more crowded it was a 45+ min drive to dinner. Would stay here again and we really enjoyed our beach front room.

Great place! If you get a ocean view room there is an awesome view and a very good size balcony. Coffee bar is amazing they had a good selection of different creamers. Pool is good the deep end is 6 feet 9 inches and the pool is good size. Shuffle board was very fun to play! You just have to get the equipment from the very friendly front desk staff.

Room was perfect, loved access to the beach, Sara and Sheila were awesome!!! Kids loved the pool! Would def stay here next time. Dropped bank card next to our car and lady that worked here handed it in to the office and came to our room to make sure we got it back!! Very nice staff!
